Is There Anything I Can’t Store?

For your own safety, the safety of your possessions, other units and the facility in general, we prohibit the storage of several items. Please do not send the following into store:

Flammable liquids – such as petrol (including fuel in lawn mowers / chainsaws / generators / motorbikes – which must be drained completely before being stored) / diesel / white spirit / turps etc.

Fireworks or gunpowder – including shotgun cartridges or other weapons

.

Z

Gas cylinders – of any size

.

Z

Food stuff – including any packaged foods, sacks of dog / bird / rabbit or cat feeds

.

Z

Industrial / farming chemicals

.

Z

Fake goods / contraband / items of illegal practice, activity or business. Should we suspect any illegal activity of any sort, we shall contact the police as a matter of course

Is There Anything Else I Need To Know?

There are a couple of extra bits of information that we recommend to make your storage experience as enjoyable as possible. Please see the following:

Maxima Self Store can offer liability cover during your rental period, subject to terms and conditions, or you can arrange insurance cover yourself.

Charges are payable 1 month in advance and a security deposit will be required.

Z

Please contact us before your booking if you are bringing in or taking out a large load. This will reduce the risk of loading & unloading areas being crowded at peak times.

Please report to the blue portacabin office upon your arrival.

Z

It’s also important that you sign the visitors book when you arrive and that you sign out when you leave. This is a health and safety procedure in case of emergency evacuation.

We regret that children under 14 years old are NOT permitted within the self store warehouse, due to the dangers within the workspace.

In order to reserve or rent a room, you must provide us with the following:

A utility bill/document showing your current address - a copy of these will be kept in your file
